Today’s lesson: You don’t have to make it all fancy for it to taste good.
I was scrolling through Tumbler today and came across a yummy looking avocado salad. I have recently started to eat avocados. The salad looked healthy but I didn’t care for the mayo dressing it said to use. So I went to the kitchen and made my own version of the salad. I wanted something crunchy and quit, im not a great chef after all.
Ingredients:
- diced celery (2-3 stalks)
- diced cucumber (half to whole cucumber)
- diced avocado (I used 1/4 cup)
- can tuna in water drained
- honey mustard
- salt free seasonings
I first chopped up the celery, cucumber and avocado. Drained the tuna. Put everything in a bowl. Squirted with honey mustard, black pepper and paprika. Stir and enjoy. Simple, crunchy and oh so good. Let me know what you think.
