You Are Stronger Than You Know
I remember back in college we had the tiniest gym (I’ve heard they have made it bigger once we graduated 🎓 go figure).
I used to run or use the elliptical (we only had 1 or two at the time🤔)and then I’d use the leg extension, hamstring curl, abductor machine. I may use 1 upper body machine but I kept telling myself I was too weak to do anymore than that🙄
Years later when I first moved to Maryland I was still a cardio queen. I ran every day. I started to use a few more stationary lifting machines for triceps, shoulders, back but that was it. One day I finally picked up some free weights.🏋🏽♀️
I had no idea what I was doing. I was self conscious but I actually stayed with it. I also began doing more at home workouts that used my body weight & free weights. I began to get stronger 💪🏼
Let me tell you, what you tell yourself you will believe. If I kept saying “you’re too weak” I’d of never tried something new. I never would of moved from workout program to workout program. I never would of taken a lifting class at the gym. I never would of built the muscle & strength I have. Your body is an incredible tool waiting to be pushed, lifted, squatted, balanced, sculpted, strengthened.
So use it!✌🏼
