Healthy Through The Holidays

Sunday was a weight loss morning 💝 even though I had some dairy free @halotopcreamery for my bday the night before 👌🏻

 I rarely use the scale but this morning I decided to get on it and have a look. I hit a goal I have been aiming for. I had some guacamole & @sietefoods chips yesterday so that goal may have changed haha but regardless I have learned not to value my progress by the scale. Its a tool that can help but also a tool that can mess with your head.

Either way it felt good to hit that number. It may not stay day to day but it was a little boost I needed. If you have followed me for any length of time you know my motto is #screwthescale 💪🏼 I focus on strength & how I feel in my 👖Its what I coach woman in my virtual groups to focus on too. Because sometimes the scale doesn’t move quite like we wish it would. But we often are losing inches, building muscle and changing our bodies shape. So if we are happy with those things, why do we let 1 number make or break our day?

I’ve been battling some health stuff since February & after countless tests with no answers…. I’ve been working on myself the best way I know how. With focused nutrition, rest when I need it and daily exercise.

I’m feeling stronger, leaner & more defined with less bloating & symptoms that have annoyed me for much of this past year🙌🏻

I coach woman to trust the process, focus on how you feel eating 🍆🍓(whole foods, veggies and some fruit) most of the time and occasionally 🍟🍕🍫🍩(treats and indulgences). 

Every time they make the switch to lean protein, lots of veggies and healthy fat they always report back feeling more energized, leaner and sleeping better. Plus they always seem to be in a better mood. Have you ever been bloated? You don’t usually feel pretty good. So give it a try.
