Growing Up I Wanted To Be….

Growing Up I Wanted To Be….

It’s okay to dabble …
Did you always know what you wanted to be?

From the time I was in 2nd grade I wanted to be a teacher.

A side from babysitting my first job was a concession girl at the movie theater 🎭 I knew I for sure DID NOT want that gig for life!

I then was a hostess at a restaurant

I also worked at dunkin’ donuts
I worked in the deans office and was an RA in college.

I worked a million odd jobs.
I got my teaching degree and started as a long term sub, kindergarten aid and the got my masters in special ed.

Not too long in to teaching I realized I no longer loved it.

I then worked at a daycare (Def NOT for me).

I was a coordinator for special needs teens at a center. I was struggling. My only outlet was fitness. The stress of the job was weighing on me. The work conditions and the management I worked for created extreme anxiety.

I started dabbling in a side gig as a online lifestyle coach. I then became a fitness instructor. I loved helping others with fitness and nutrition. I loved making friends with other woman like me.  Now I do both full time.

It’s okay to NOT use your degree
It’s okay to dabble in things that interest you!
It’s okay to let life get messy & let that potential inside you bloom in a new area of life!

What do you want to dabble in that’s been on your mind or heart for a while?
