Whether you are a morning person or not, we all benefit from a solid morning routine. The more you follow the routine it becomes habit. Once you create a habit its easy to stick to it and then add to it overtime.

My very first morning routine is when my alarm goes off, I open my Kasa app on my phone and turn on the coffee maker. This is a habit I start the night before by setting up the coffee maker. We have smart plugs and outlets in every room and its a game changer.
The coffee I use is Four Sigmatic code Jackie10 saves you 10%. Its low acid, has health benefits from mushrooms and gives you better focus. While my coffee is brewing, I slowly let light into each room. In our primary bedroom I click the remote for our motorized shades. While that is rising, I make our bed.
Once our room is put together I move to our guest room. I open the side window shade to let in the light. The one above the bed I usually leave slightly open so at night while Big Boy (our cat) sleeps in his spot he can look outside.
I make my way down the hallway to the living room. We have a cordless roman shade (code Jackieenos) in color Ivory White that I manually open each morning. Its usually time to let big boy outside and I always open this first. It allows light in and allows me to see if neighborhood cats are out front, a fox (YES A FOX) or if someone is walking by with their dog.
I let big boy outside and make my way to living room. If you are catching on, I open another roman shade. This is the same ones we have in the guest room. Those are in the white but the living room is in Ivory to match our Liz Linen Ivory White Drapes.
I love natural light especially that early morning light so let there be light!!!!
And just when you think I’ve let in enough light, there is one more window. The kitchen window. We have the same Liz Linen Ivory White shade but with a cord. I love the see the light slowly engulf our galley kitchen.
Now that all the rooms have natural light shining in, I pour myself that heavenly first cup of coffee and all is right in the world. Lately, my husband and I have been going on early morning walks together. So after i’ve had my first cup I pop my morning Ritual multivitamin and get dressed for a walk.
I always wear my weighted vest on our walks. These vests can improve your speed, endurance and muscular strength.
Once our walk is done I head to my home gym, open my laptop and get a workout in. Its usually lifting and lately I am on my 3rd full round of our newest body recomposition program Dig Deeper.
That is how I start my day almost every single day. Its calming, its healthy and its productive. Most of all it makes me happy. If you are reading this while sipping your morning coffee, cheers!
