Today’s Lesson: Are you back to routine ready?
Are you ready to put YOURSELF first so that you can give all of yourself to your responsibilities as a parent (juggling homework, school activities, after school sports, dance and band practices and of course play dates), as an employee with projects and deadlines, as a spouse or significant other and a contributing member to your family, plus other roles you have on a church team, group leader or volunteer?
That’s one crazy week and one crazy day after another don’t you think? So if you are not giving yourself some personal time in all of that how do you stay sane? How are you taken care of mentally and physically? What about food? That’s a lot of running around or time not spent in the kitchen. Are you resorting to cheap and convenient food? Skipping meals? Not eating for long lengths of time? Staying awake with mega doses of caffeine from soda and extra extra loaded coffee?
I challenge you to give me 30 days or even 21. I give you my proven meal plans. I give you my number one source of nutrition that powers me through my days. If you know me well, you know I wake at 4:06am every day, I am working out by 5am. I teach 6 classes a week. I work a draining job as special education teacher/coordinator and I run a fitness and health business helping people just like you. Plus I spend time with my love, family and friends. I dedicate time to my clients and my coaches each day, continue to work on ME and being a better person and leader and pass out by 11pm. I wake up raring to go again the next day. I guarantee you if my nutrition was not on point, if I did NOT have my Daily dose of dense nutritional shake (or lifesaver or guilt free treat whatever you would like to call it), and I was not giving my body the strength and stamina it needs from my workouts I would not be able to accomplish what I do each day and would not be able to do it with the same energy and passion.
So what am I asking of you? Simple. Commit. 30 days. 30-40 minutes a day. Follow my plans. Let me coach you through it. I have countless clients who are proof my systems work. They worked for them and they will work for you. You have nothing to lose but excess weight, inches, and the weight of low self-esteem and confidence. Unleash the happy healthy joyful person you are capable of being. Maybe you used to be that way before kids and career and juggling too many responsibilities, putting yourself on the back burner was the only way to manage. How’s that working out for you? How do you feel on a daily basis? Can you run after your kids without getting winded? Is it a struggle to get out of bed each morning? Do you sleep well or restless? Are you on blood pressure medicine?
Imagine just a few simple changes. Putting yourself first, TRUSTING someone else to help you, not trying to do it alone, doing the same thing, seeing results for only 2 weeks and then falling back off the wagon or not seeing results but still insisting you can fix it. Why? Why struggle. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose by joining a group of people JUST like YOU! Same struggles, similar goals all working together to become healthier and happier.
