What is 80 Day Obsession?
- 80 Day Obsession is a Total Body Transformation program with a strong emphasis on training the gluteus and core. Its 80 days of OBSESSIVE focus on fitness and nutrition, spread over 13 weeks.
How is this program different than any other workout program Beachbody has created?
- This is the first time we get to use progression and periodization (2 components of workout programing that are critical to great results). There are 3 phases in 80 Day Obsession each phase builds off each other. There are 80 DIFFERENT WORKOUTS! That means you are never going to get board, and you are going to stay off of that fitness plateau that often happens after doing the same workouts over and over again. HOLA!!!!!!
What are the different workouts?
Total Body Core: work your entire body using compound moves that torch calories, burn belly fat and bring definition to the entire body.
Booty: Beachbody Resistance loops and Strength Slides activate the butt muscles and then build and shape them. Through specific exercises we target the gluteus with isolated movements.
Cardio Core: 30 minutes of HIIT combined with core moves to get the heart rate up and torch the core.
AAA: Arms, Abs and A**!!! These exercises work on eccentric contractions to bring a major burn to your muscles.
Legs: The legs have the biggest muscle groups. This means more calories to burn. These workouts will help you sculpt strong, lean legs!
Cardio Flow: Don’t be fooled by the name, this is nothing like flow yoga. Cardio Flow is a dynamic endurance workout for the ultimate fat burning, sweat session.
What is in each phase?
- Each week of 80 Day Obsession there are 6 workouts and in each phase these 6 workouts totally change. These workouts keep your body working by changing up reps and sets weekly so you never hit a fitness plateau.
- Week 1 of every phase is a 2×15 rep scheme. Meaning first you do all the moves in the workout doing 15 reps of each then circle back to the top and do it again. This is done with medium weights. Week 2 it changes up to a 3×10 rep scheme. You will be lifting heavier this week. Going through all the moves in the workout 3 times.
- Week 3 keeps the 3×10 rep scheme and the heavy weights but instead of going through the entire workout and circling back to the top you perform 10 reps of three exercises three times in a row before moving on. This way you are burning the muscle group out faster and pushing your body harder. In week 4 you go back to the 2×15 pattern but again do 15 reps of three moves, two times and then move on to the next group. All of this keeps your body working hard through out the entire 80 days so you can continue to SEE PROGRESS.

What does the nutrition look like? What is timed nutrition?
- Its not complicated but its incredibly effective. If you are familiar with the portion control container system (from 21 day fix/ fix extreme) that is a big plus because we used the containers with the timed nutrition meal plan. Autumn tells you what containers go together at what meals. No more guessing what to eat before a workout or how to refuel after a workout or asking how often you should be eating.
Will the timed nutrition work if I workout first thing in the am or if I work the night shift?
- YES! We all eat throughout the day, timed nutrition is no different, you are just going to be more precise with your timing while keeping your macro nutrients balanced throughout the day. Having a steady supply of healthy carbohydrates, healthy fats and lean proteins will keep your metabolism burning like a furnace so you shed fat and build lean muscle.

Who is 80 Day Obsession for?
- 80 Day Obsession is for anyone who is looking to get amazing results with their health and fitness. It is an intermediate/advanced workout program so its ideal to have a baseline of fitness. That doesn’t mean you have to be shredded or at your ideal weight, it means its good to get your body moving now so the workouts aren’t a total shock to your system. What equipment is needed for 80 Day Obsession?
- You need light, medium and heavy weights. You also need light, medium and heavy resistance loops as well as the Beachbody Strength Slides. The loops and slides are available for purchase through Beachbody. The bundles also include a set of the portion control containers, the Getting Started Guide, a Calendar, and depending on which 80 Day Obsession Bundle you choose it can also include the Shakeology or The Performance Stack (pre & post workout).

Will this be available on DVD?
- No. It would cost 900$ to put all 80 workouts on DVD. You must become a beachbody on demand member to have access to all 80 workout and materials, plus that gives you access to our cooking show FIXATE and all of our other workout programs (including 21 day fix, fix extreme and a little obsessed).
